In addition to the employment contract, laws, collective bargaining agreements and company agreements form the legal framework of the employment relationship. The Works Constitution Act entrusts the works council with the task of ensuring that the company complies with all existing standards in favour of employees. To fulfil this task, works councils must competently advise employees and consider the various provisions of collective and individual labour law. This seminar focuses on central issues that arise in the course of an existing employment relationship, such as regulations on working hours and vacation. The seminar covers the necessary basic knowledge of labour law.
